Tuff, waterproof, dont smear

Amazon Customer, United States
"Perfect for what I needed. Can write on them and they dont smear like most stickers if touched after writing. Hard to tear. Great stickers"

Very sturdy, and seem to work well outdoors

Marki Mark, United States
"When I received them, I was immediately impressed by sturdiness of the labels.

I peeled one off, which was very easy, btw. I wanted to see how easy it would be to tear it by hand. Well, I wasn't able to, which is great since I'm planning in using them in- and outdoors.

These labels often smear permanent ink even after it dried. This one doesn't, which is GREAT!

They stick well, so make sure you place them right the first time around.

Overall, they are easy to use, are very functional, and I like the white, yet not glossy surface.

Time will tell how well they hold up in the Summer heat of the South, but I'm impressed by the value I got.

NOTICE: as pointed out in the description, they are NOT compatible with ribbon-less thermal printers! They are for handwriting mainly, or printers that use a ribbon. I only tested them with permanent marker."

these are on

"i write on these with a pen and they work for the most part but some parts just don’t write the ink and it’s frustrating. they also smear. it’s easy to use though just write and stick the label on my bread bags."

A Premium, Durable Label That Justifies Its Price

Stephen, United States
"A Premium, Durable Label That Justifies Its Price

Overall Rating: ★★★★★ (5/5)

These Mermed blank waterproof labels are a great, premium-quality solution for anyone needing a durable labeling option. While they are a little spendier than some basic paper labels, the quality is immediately apparent, making them a decent value and a solid 5-star product.

Quality and Features

This is a roll of 500 labels, each measuring 70mm x 40mm (2.8" x 1.6"). The key feature that defines their premium quality is the material: they are made from a durable polypropylene, not paper. This makes them both waterproof and tear-resistant, which is essential for labels used in shipping, inventory, or warehouse environments where they might be exposed to moisture or abrasion. They feature a strong, permanent acrylic adhesive designed to bond securely to various surfaces like plastic, glass, and metal without peeling.

Performance

These labels work perfectly for their intended use. The 2.8" x 1.6" size is versatile for barcodes, shipping, or inventory. The roll is designed for thermal transfer printers and the labels are perforated, making them easy to separate and apply. The smudge-resistant surface ensures that printed information remains clean and scannable.

Value

As noted, these are a bit spendier than standard paper labels, but the value is in their durability. For any application where a label needs to withstand moisture, handling, or tough conditions, the upgrade to this tear-resistant, waterproof polypropylene material is well worth the cost.

Conclusion

These are great labels. Their premium, waterproof, and tear-resistant quality makes them a reliable choice for professional use in labs, warehouses, or for durable home organization. They are a 5-star product for anyone who needs a label that lasts."

Great for Meals

L & E, United States
"Arrived quickly and well packaged. Great size label for meals. Easy to write on. Writing holds up, even in freezer doesn’t smear. Label removes in one piece if run under hot water or heat. I use these for meals for my mom and I’m sure they could be used for many different purposes. Great item for meals though."

I'm impressed, so much better than the usual paper labels.

MickM, United States
"In the past when I've stuck labels to something (e.g. a plastic tote) and then let a few years pass, the glue either turns brittle and the label flakes off when you touch it or the material (usually paper) dry-rots and can't be peeled off. I've never used polypropylene labels before so I thought I'd try them out. I was a bit concerned that writing on them with a pencil or ball-point pen might be problematic due to an overly smooth or plasticy surface, however that proved to be a non-issue - it all worked great. Even an accent marker pen nicely absorbed into the material and didn't just wipe off. I'm actually kind of impressed. It's also effectively untearable, although if you create a fault line by cutting it with scissors or a knife then it tears with ease starting at that place. I also did a quick test by firmly pressing a label onto a sheet of cardboard and leaving it for 8 hours before trying to peel it off. Ideally, I was hoping for good adhesion but to still be able to peel it off slowly without ripping up the underlying cardboard, and indeed that's what I got :-). I realize the glue was still somewhat fresh though. I videoed the above, although in hindsight it seemed a bit over the top to do so :-/.

While I appreciate that providing these labels on a roll likely makes feeding them into certain printers easier, it does take up about 50% more volume in my drawer that way. I would have preferred these things be fan-folded or on individual sheets of e.g. 4, or even on standard 8.5x11 sheets which would definitely work with a printer.

Anyway, compared to the usual adhesive backed paper labels that I've previously used, I think these are great! They're also not really that much more expensive. I'm going to label a few totes and throw them in the attic and see what happens in a year. Up there it gets scorching hot in the summer and bitterly cold during the New England winters - it'll be interesting to see how the glue survives. For now, I'm going to assume the labels will hold up and give them 5 stars. Watch this space..."

Waterproof, tearproof, medium sized label

J.C., United States
"Looks and feels like a normal label, comes in a small roll. But try ripping it by hand, or splashing water on it, and you'll find out it's different - it's not paper based, but plastic based. So it's entirely waterproof (though the marker may not be, double check it is or else the ink might smear or run), and it doesn't rip. Pretty tough! Size is as advertised, not big but not tiny. The adhesive is pretty good too, not weak but not too strong so it rips off more than it should. Great product."

Tear resistant and water proof

mcrich04, United States
"These labels are definitely tear resistant. They are very sturdy. They are not, however, compatible with my Phomemo thermal printer. The description says they are compatible with thermal printers. When I tried to use them with the thermal printer app, the image/text doesn't show. You can vaguely see the image in white on the white label. The same image and text works fine on other labels. I ran these labels through my ink-jet printer, and they printed, but the ink ran and smeared badly. Handwriting using ink pens work though. The ultra fine markers work great. A thicker marker works also, but I needed to let the ink dry for about a minute. Once it was set, it was fine."

Nice labels-not all writing instruments hold up though

Briana Coelho, United States
"This 500-count roll of 2.8” x 1.6” blank waterproof adhesive packing labels has been really convenient for my personal laundry service. I like that the labels come on a roll, which makes them easy to store and use. They peel off the backing easily, stick well, and are simple to write on. One thing to note is that not all writing instruments work the same on these labels. Ballpoint pen ink smudged even after a few minutes, and pencils and highlighters also smudged after drying. Fine point markers worked best—they smudged briefly but dried quickly and then stayed put. For me, this isn’t a problem since I only use fine point markers anyway, but it’s worth testing what you’ll be writing with before labeling.
Overall, these labels are durable, easy to use, and work well for my needs."

Impressive Labels

lklm, United States
"I wanted strong labels that will adhere for years for bins that I store seasonal items in . These polypropylene labels are much better than the usual labels I use as these don't tear and seem almost indestructible. They are waterproof and the adhesive is very sticky. So far I'm impressed with the feel and strength of the labels. I'm hoping the adhesive is as good a quality as the label and continues to adhere long-term in unconditioned storage where the heat and cold can be intense. I'll update the review if that doesn't turn out to be the case."

Great durable waterproof thermal labels!

Melissa, United States
"These labels are great for making labels for shipping. They’re super sticky. They print perfectly on my thermal printer. My printer registers each sticker and it’s a great size for a quick label for branding or messaging on packages. They’re easy to use stay stuck to packages and waterproof so they don’t get wrinkly or bubbly and humidity or Rain."

Good quality

Heather Allgood, United States
"These are good quality waterproof labels. They print crisp and clean and have a strong adhesive backing. These are great for labeling and organizing."
